New Voice Assistant on MyPermobil app is a great tool for those who use wheelchairs

For wheelchair users with limited hand mobility, using a smartphone can be challenging. Permobil, a company dedicated to providing advanced healthcare solutions, has launched a new Voice Assistant on its MyPermobil app that allows for hands-free, voice activated access to relevant wheelchair information while at home or on the go with their Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant device or app.

Michael Huhn, 25, from Connecticut, USA, with Cerebral Palsy, was a beta tester for the new Voice Assistant. “For people with disabilities like me, we have limited hand function and I actually type with my nose or big toe. With Voice Assistant, it means we have more freedom and less work,” he said.
