We will get through this together

For more than 20 years Premier Community Services has been caring for our community members living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). With the current outbreak of COVID-19, it's important, now more than ever, to recognize the special challenges we all face in the ID/DD community.

We want to reassure our clients, caregivers and our community that we are following all guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in all of our homes and offices. These measures include sanitation and social distancing as well as sending regular updates to the field and office staff to keep them informed of the latest updates and guideline additions and/or changes.

In addition to CDC guidelines, we are also closely monitoring any mental health issues that may arise such as fear and anxiety in our community. This situation has been difficult for everyone but for the ID/DD community it can be overwhelming. We want you to know we are here for those who are struggling and will continue to remain vigilant until we see an end to this pandemic.
