Help still available for families and individuals in Eastern Oklahoma with 211 Resource Hub

As we reported in a September, the Community Service Council has created an amazing resource for families and individuals struggling during the pandemic called the COVID-19 Resource Hub. This easy-to-use website provides users with a well-organized directory of critical resources available to people who have been impacted by COVID-19 in Eastern Oklahoma.
The mission of this Hub is to quickly connect those in need with the nearby services that can help. The site is regularly updated with new resources and information – some of the most popular assistance categories include:
Rent assistance
Eviction notices
Meal sites
SNAP Program information
Distance learning support (free internet access)
Mental health resources
Unemployment information
In addition, you will also find links to free COVID testing sites, financial help, instructional information on how to make your own cloth face mask, updated COVID statistics and many other useful resources. If you or someone you know needs assistance but have no access to the Internet, you may dial 2-1-1 and a specialist will connect you to the appropriate organization.

Please let us know if you have any other suggested websites or organizations that are offering assistance during this difficult time - we’d be more than happy to share them with our readers.
